Nature doesn't rush
and neither do we.
Every Landfed ranch lives in a unique ecosystem and honors its own seasonal schedule. Join us in co-creating an entire food system that does the same.
The conventional meat system runs on corn and long-haul diesel to keep it's calendar. In nature, there's a time for birth and a time for harvest.
At Landfed, we're returning to that rhythm. Ranches harvest seasonally, members stock their freezers and the process comes closer to home.
Landfed members have access to Fall harvest beef, Winter harvest beef and pork, and Summer harvest pork.
How it works for your freezer
Getting meat from Landfed is different from the grocery store — on purpose. It's a new rhythm of eating that is actually very old: plan ahead, reserve in season, and stock up.
01Join
Membership opens your harvest eligibility and all transparency data, like nutrient density info and glyphosate residue testing results.
02Stay in tune
Follow the animals as they finish, read the production data, and attend ranch events to get to know where your food comes from.
03Reserve
When harvest windows opens, place your bulk order with a deposit. A curated share, a half or whole animal cut to your specifications.
04Stock the freezer
A Landfed rancher delivers your share to your door. Then you eat from your own freezer all year and return to Step 2 to stay in touch!
The reality of nose-to-tail
We use the whole animal, which means some cuts are naturally scarce. Tri-tip, brisket, and pork loins come from smaller parts, which means there are less of them to go around. It's not a flaw in the system, but what eating a real animal looks like.
Take your food back into your own hands.
Eat in rhythm with the land around you, keep the food dollar close to home, and know exactly where every cut came from. This is what it means to be Landfed.
