Our Story
Landfed exists to bring the food system back to the technology of Nature, empower resilient local economies and offer nourishment of the highest quality.
01 / WHERE WE'RE GOING
The next step is closer.
Over the past hundred years, farming has rapidly become more centralized, systemized and mechanized. As this happened, most of us got further and further away from the sacred act of feeding ourselves.
Landfed was born out of the desire to offer the highest quality meat on the planet, while inviting folks back onto the land. For us, that starts with the word "stewardship".
And stewardship starts by shortening the journey back to the soil.

A tamper-evident SHA-256 hash-chained digital ledger holds all animal records, harvest events and movements of meat. Shorter journeys, with a longer memory, that are always visible to members.
03 / HONORING THE GIFT
Caring for the whole circle
Shortening the journey isn't just about cutting out diesel and corn, it spares the animals the confusion and stress of long-distance hauling.1 Livestock belong on the quiet ground they know.1
That conviction is why Landfed is organized as a private members association. As private individuals united by shared values, we hold on-farm harvest as our baseline. Guided by gratitude and reverence from start to finish.
04 / STRONG COMMUNITIES
Restoring local resilience
When the food system centralized, rural communities lost more than livestock—they lost local butchers, skilled trades, and generational knowledge. At Landfed, we hold that a healthy relationship with the land feeds everyone, far beyond the plate.
A community that can feed itself is secure. By keeping harvest craft and the operational dollar close to the ranch, we help rebuild the local economies that sustain us all.
