Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Abundant Pastures Foundation dba Landfed ("Landfed," "we," "us") handles information when you visit landfed.com or take part in our private members association. We collect only what we need to run memberships, harvests and deliveries. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Information we collect

• Contact and account details: name, email, phone number, and your sign-in credentials.
• Delivery details: delivery or pickup address and delivery notes.
• Household and order details: household members and preferences you choose to share, cut sheets, harvest reservations and order history.
• Membership records: your tier, the agreement version you accepted and when you accepted it.
• Payment details: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only a customer reference and limited card details such as brand and last four digits.
• Messages: anything you send us by email or through our contact form.

How we use it

• To create and manage your membership and member portal access.
• To match your address to the nearest ranch and plan delivery or pickup.
• To take reservations, process payments and send order, harvest and account emails.
• To answer your questions and keep our records accurate and secure.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to serve you: with the ranch members and licensed harvesters, processors and delivery partners handling your order, and with service providers that run parts of our site, including Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google Maps (address matching) and our website hosting and database provider. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only essential cookies and browser storage: to keep you signed in, remember that you accepted our association entry notice, hold your cart and save an unfinished order on your device. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep account and order records for as long as your membership is active and afterward as needed for legal, tax and recordkeeping purposes. Animal and harvest provenance records are kept permanently as part of our tamper-evident ledger; these records describe animals and harvests, not your personal details.

Your choices and California rights

You can view and update most of your details on the Account page in the member portal. You may also ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to records we must keep. Email hello@landfed.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will not treat you differently for making a request. Because we do not track visitors across sites, we do not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted access to member records. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private.

Children

Membership is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
